The Progressive South is incorporated as a nonprofit company in the state of Tennessee. We are currently applying for 501(c)3 status from the IRS. In the meantime, we have a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor — Community Shares — and you can make tax-deductible donations to The Progressive South through them at the link below. When making the donation, write “The Progressive South” in the space that says “Special instructions to the seller.”
Community Shares is a Knoxville-based nonprofit that serves as an umbrella funding organization and fiscal sponsor for progressive nonprofit groups across East Tennessee. Learn more here.
